Re: [RC] US Chef d' Equipe Announcement - Truman PrevattIt seems that conspiracy theories, rumor and innuendos are starting to run amuck. The training squad selection is the most important milestone in the process. You would no more remove the Chef d'Equipe right before the selection was made than you would remove a project manager from a project right before a big review. If it had to be done it should be done at a time to minimize the risk of any negative after effects. It is not uncommon for project managers to be removed from their position during a project. Many times - in fact in my experience most of the time - it's for reasons other than competence in carrying out the duties. Many times it is no more than personality conflicts and are differences of opinions of how to proceed between the manager and boss(es) - and after all the boss is the boss Bottom line is we don't know what happened. If this was done in a professional manner by professionals - we may never know because at the end of the day it is be none of our business why the move was made. Confidentially in personnel issues is also mandated in most states by law. The USEF made the call - probably a very tough call - and it is time for them to move forward. My only comment, however, is this whole process has been fairly clumsy. Truman heidi@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: Bingo, kat. -- "The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement.
