it's only speculation now as to what's behind this. but if it's the
riders, it's certainly a minority of them. 

I'm thinking it's more USEF organizational problems (a guess only:) - but
you're right, it smells of politics and old school to me. 

USEF has lots of issues with respect to it's handling of the endurance
discipline. These issues will continue to affect our showings at
international competitions unless they are fully acknowledged and
transparency brought to the USEF processes.
