Re: [RC] Do any of you ever get nervous? - Lynne GlazerFor me it's about the time my horse and I have had together--my current mount might not have done many miles yet in competition, but he's been under saddle with me for 4 years. On our initial cliffy trail voyages, I was indeed kinda scared, because he's the kind of guy who can make a mistake and yet save himself (wondering, would I survive, too?) Eventually he understood the importance of making me feel safe, learned to prefer to keep me aboard at all costs, and we've had a bunch of happy years together in terms of cliffy trail. Another more recent challenge was his desire to run home when on local trail. Since switching to a hackamore, the static is off of our communication channel, and I'm simply left with a joyful pony and experience.re vertigo--I'd started to notice I was getting a little dizzy when dismounted--looking from tall bridges, looking down, etc., and wondered how I'd do riding the big coasters. Fellow endurance riders Blayne Chenoweth, Elfta Hilzman and I rode all of the big ones from opening to close with three enthusiastic young'uns yesterday, and I'm still smiling. Outrageous fun, if you ever get to SoCal, Magic Mountain (on a Tues the lines are shorter!) At night, in line for the last, most amazing ride for the 2nd time (Tatsu) I looked down from several stories, night was usually when I'd feel a little dizzy-- nope! Knocked it right outta me. This, with a sinus infection. :-))) W00t! Lynne who uses Rescue Remedy to avoid freaking out about running late to the airport On Jun 13, 2006, at 8:58 PM, Karen Sullivan wrote:
