[RC] Mariposa "Run For The Gold" in W region on June 17 - Michael MaulPosted for Richard Theodore <wildcat@xxxxxxxxxxxx>Good Morning, Just received word that the entry is not available on the CSHA website soooo... If you are considering riding the Mariposa Ride this Saturday, now is the time to let us know. We have lots of room. Lots of good food prepared by Sal's Mexican Restaurant locally. We have brand new buckles with Mariposa 25 miler and Mariposa 50 miler on them or your choice of commemorative wine glasses. Lots of awards. Due to our Forest Service masticating the Manzanita on certain roads and trails, the 25 miler has now been rerouted which in effect will make it easier on the horses and prettier for the riders to enjoy. The 50 miler has also added more trails and less road. We have tried to cover all bases this year. All trot by's will be mounted(no getting off and leading past the Vets). We have 3 Vets: Dr. Kevin Lazarcheff, Dr. Joanne Clemitson and Dr. Claude Pacheco as well as a treatment Vet Dr. Alan White. Our local 4-H equine project will be presenting their annual silent auction with lots of goodies.
