Hi. Now that I have your attention. In the past on separate occasions, I've
had a friend and a vet clean my geldings sheath. I have not had the "pleasure"
of cleaning it myself until recently. I was told about the "bean" in the penis
that needs to be taken out. Most of you know what I mean. So I cleaned with a
glove on (I'm smart in that way at least) and used a washcloth and Ivory soap
water. I then searched for the "bean". Well, I felt the hard lump up in the tip
and dug it out. It was the black waxy sticky black goop that had formed a small
ball that was in the tip. I then cleaned some more, got that all out and
searched again but no "bean". My friend said that what I dug out was not the
waxy white bean I was looking for. What is it like? A lima bean for crying out
loud? A baked bean? Pulease. I felt the hard lump and got it out. Nothing more.
Is it a different color in some horses compared to others? Help. I want to get
my horses BEAN!!!!
