I rode the Bizz Johnson Trail this weekend, and wanted to
share with you all what a wonderful training ride that it was!
The total ride was 22.49 miles (Devil's Coral to Mason Station), which was about 3-4 miles
longer that usual due to a detour.? The trail was wide, well marked, and
absolutely beautiful!? Tall pine trees, running water along much of the trail,
and even rattle snakes (sorry Taz, I’ll never try to make you step on a
nasty rattler again!)? We crossed 12-13 bridges (wood & concrete) over
water (I know Taz, we were way up there!).? The only down side was some pesky mosquitoes
over about ½ mile of the detour. ??We crossed paths with a few bikes, 2 horses,
and 1 runner.? Quite peaceful J
In any event, it was a great ride about
60-90 minutes north of Reno,
