Ah, 1965 - the year I graduated from high school. I remember a few
things from that year. A few notable ball games, the state track meet -
but my graduation was not one. Since "blue smoke" hadn't made it to
Western KY then, we had to settle for good old home made shine - we
lived in a dry county ;-) .

The best thing I remember about '65 was Western KY in the rear view
mirror as I headed off to college. That made us the class of '69 at
Purdue - which was the source of a lot of jokes. Of course I have no
ideal what that meant but the upper classmen were pretty found of point
out that fact ;-) .

The next 10 years were one wild ride. Would I do it over again - you bet
any day.

I couldn't resist... Truman, you said, "<And from all I remember
from my High School graduation, Jerry Garcia could have spoke"

There used to be a radio station in Phoenix that for an hour every
morning they would pick a year and play music from that year. I
listened religiously to that program, trying to recall where I was
living and what the "heck" I was doing during that time. The only
way I remembered the years was to hear the songs played from that
    time.

Ah, yes! The good ol' late 60's and 70's. Hmmm. What WAS I
    doing anyway?
