WHOA! So only
*registered* horses can compete in France? BUMMER. I know you guys have a
very serious breeding program but now this sounds as if the competitions
are only there to promote the breeding programs. What a drag.
Right
off the top of my head here are a couple of horses who were
"minus papers"
Desert Ballad - He beat Pierez at the ROC, was I
believe 3rd at the Pan Ams at about age 19...many wins & BC's. When his
owner, Nina Warren was riding Ballad, Jedi...future World Champion, was her
*backup horse*. >g<
Whoa Jack- top 10 in *several* World
Championships. Had a tremendous record of wins and 100% completion rate on
100's last time I looked.
I"m sure there are tons more. What a pain for
them to limit your riders like that. Any chance a more grass roots level
of competitions will appear to serve the "fun
rider"?
