Re: [RC] Smooth Traveling Arabs - Barbara McCraryI've ridden rough-riding Arabs and smooth ones. I now subscribe to the Julie Suhr Rules for Senior Riders, The Three S-es....Short (14.2 hands), safe (no spook, no rear, no buck, no runaway) and smooth (which my new horse is.) Jess travels low to the ground....no spring, no loft, no jack-hammer. VERRRY nice. There are smooth Arabs and there are rough ones. I will never again buy a horse without being able to ride him first, which is exactly what I did with the previous two I had during a 5-year period.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim & Drin Becker" <rainbow@xxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, May 31, 2006 7:29 AM Subject: Re: [RC] Smooth Traveling Arabs "so why not develop that gait for the people who are getting older and want an Arab that is SMOOTH," =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
