If Keith heard those comment, really, shame on the person silly enough to say that. We are not strangers to a non-arab out there. They're everywhere and doing great. Keith's horse isn't an anomaly.
Keith, as a rule, we are some of the nicest people you could ever spend a weekend with. Vets can be firm because it's their job to help keep our horses safe. There have been many wrecks due to newbie error. They may have just grouped you into that based on history. It tells you this is true because they said later that they were just concerned but in the end applauded your success.
Congratulations Keith but be careful. "Endurance is humbling" as said by Mr. Miller.
