Today I was oiling some tack with neats-foot oil and I got to the bottom of the container with a bit more needed on a new bridle. Near where I was working there was a tin of Badger Bug Balm: http://www.badgerbalm.com/anti-bug.html I read the ingredients list on the label and went right ahead and rubbed some of that stuff into my bridle. Seemed to soften it up real nice, and maybe it'll keep the mosquitoes away too. Special and magical indeed - and probably more expensive than any of the products made for leather. Active Ingredients: Citronella Oil (5.0%), Cedar Oil (2.0%), Lemongrass(2.0%), Rosemary Oil(1.0%), & Geranium Oil(1.0%). Other Ingredients: Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Beeswax & Castor Oil.
