RE: [RC] Silly Question - heidiLinda is correct about the fact that it is possible but a lot
trickier to take BPs in horses, and that BP fluctuations are less
meaningful relative to exertion. From what I understand, horses
do not get primary hypertension the way people do (stress or no
stress)--but are far more likely than people to develop ulcers.
I really don't see that BPs would be of much help in predicting
metabolic recovery.
