It's not as sure as a scope, but to haul her out to the clinic that does scopes is $300. That's 1/3 of the price of Gastroguard treatment, and we're pretty certain she's got ulcers. So, a scope is the only 100% sure way to diagnose, but her symptoms are that of an ulcer horse and her lifestyle hasn't been that good. She's been staying up drinking and partying. :) Actually she's been stall bound for 6 months babysitting my gelding who is hurt, and she's been on and off of bute due to a lameness issue (Hock spavin in her left hock, just found that out today, it had been mystery lameness until today).
