[RC] Update - DiThank you Tom Sites for the wonderful post about Red and Jerry:) Jerry is on his way home from Virginia. We will go to the doctor tomorrow to see how bad his injuries really are! I would like to thank everyone for all the kind comments. Red was one of a kind, he was a member of our family, awesome horse to ride, scared me to death flying downhill with him:) He will be sadly missed here on the farm. I would like to clarify a few things: They were not on the Old Dominion Trail in Front Royal, VA. Red(who was 19) was Jerry's retired endurance horse half arab/half saddlebred 16'2. It was not Irene the stallion, (JABASK KNIGHT) who won the 1st Heavyweight Championship at the National Championships in 99(50 Mile) and 2000(100 Mile & BC)! Irene is alive and kicking in his pasture, you can tell it's spring with him:) Thank you again, go hug your horses, we all cherish our time on this earth with them! ~Diane Fruth LBL EXPRESS Ride Manager Golden Pond, Kentucky SERA Kentucky Director Member/AERC Convention Committee =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
