Thanks for the suggestion, Diane, but the rain is coming in from a crack 
where the cooler rests in the window-- no way to really close that from 
the outside without actually taking the unit out. :-(
I made a "drain pipe" out of a tin foil cookie sheet and that seems to 
be working. Guess that makes me an engineer ;-)
No, we aren't getting any extraordinary winds here -- just buckets of 
rain and I have put off feeding just about as long as I can without my 
horses storming the fences and coming after me. I woke up with a 
respiratory bug-- this will NOT help!!!

PS We lived in Cuyama for a brief while-- when that horrible flooding 
took place and the road washed out, killing the 2 policemen and a 
trucker was missing. I'll say a prayer you folks don't get that much 
rain again!!!
