When I bought my camper I had a plastic
type bed liner in my truck. It was suggested that I get rid of that
because it is slick. I replaced it with a rubber bed liner that the
camper people were much happier with. Maybe that is why you have been
told to take it out.

was told that you should take out your bedliner when you put your camper in. Is
that true? Does it make much of a difference? Appreciate the advice.

I installed my torsion bar I put my bedliner back in the truck and my camper
sits on top of it. No troubles in three years!!!
