[RC] Gaited and Donkeys - Paso2GoIdle curiosity - on average how many gaited horses appear to be involved in endurance riding? How about donkeys? I ride a Paso Fino mare that I'm considering doing an endurance ride on if I can get more settled in conditioning and find a mentor. We've worked CTR's before as drag riders but I've never been interested in competing. As long as Gabi and I are working well together, safe and comfy - I'm a happy camper. Being that I love the mileage, I'm considering Endurance instead. Friend of mine does CTR on a small donkey and would love to try endurance. She has the first donkey in over 30 years of NATRC rides to compete and has placed every time. Not bragging just confirming that she does the conditioning and such to be able to compete and place. OK - maybe bragging a little bit. :-) Anyhoo, would she be accepted at endurance rides? --------------------------------- Sue Fritsche of Blue Moon Acres in Middle Tennessee Paso2Go@xxxxxxxxxxx =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
