Turned out that one of his teeth was worn in a way, that a "pocket" was trapping food, and causing the drool. This was only 6 month after he had a dental done. He got another one, and this cured the drooling. We figure he will need to get floated twice a year from now on.If your vet laughs at you when you call him out for a drooling horse, I suggest you find a new vet ! Drooling can also be a sign of choking, which can kill your horse. It is not something to be taken lightly.
