So far as being "safer"...my experience is that far fewer horses get in trouble on what we call "difficult" trails that cause us to slow down and use our brains instead of our heels. Just because some people train at a gallop and prefer to gallop does not mean you have to provide them a course that they excell on. If you people in Malaysia can ride this course, why can't "the best in the world"?
