Re: [RC] [RC] RC:Thoughts On WEC 2008 - Nik Isahak AbdullahYes Diane, honestly having done close to 10 years of 'tropical endurance',Australian 's trainer Brown's comment on the need to pace and condition and acclimatise well is just echoing what we all already know very well here. The CoC would be very difficult to acheive except in very2 flat courses and trail. We have had 2 16okm rides so far and many2 120's on flat courses and so far the best time never breach even 11 kph average.Maybe we do not have super horses of the FEI type yet and it would be interesting come august this yeasr when we have another 160 km ride at the championship trail if UAE or others come with their super horses,to see the average time.It would certainly not be a 15 kph average even but a 14 to 15 kph may be possible.Just maybe. But I am certainly serious about America's USET coming back into contention if you guys strategies and choose your horses wisely. The emphasise in Kuala Terengganu should be on toughness ,lightness and not speed.
