[RC] Rode to the top of Black Mt today [enjoy the pics] - Eric Drew
it was 80 out but Porter handled the temps like a champ lots of climbs, some short and steep others long and sustained....good training ride...I may have him conditioned back up sooner than I thought even after an unplanned 10 week layoff due to washed out roads
trotting up White Oak Trail

I dismounted at this point and ran the 1.2 miles to the bottom next to Porter as we could go 3-4 mph faster that way [yes my thighs are burning] http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b217/Eric1218/c2006_0509009.jpg My truck is parked over in the Xmas tree farm on the ridge on the left. We ran down to the canyon bottom then fast trotted back up to the top http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b217/Eric1218/c2006_0509010.jpg Porter enjoyin g his post ride beet pulp/electrolyte mash after a fast 2 hour ride with over 3500 hundred feet of climbing [not to mention descending] http://www.live2befit.com/forums/files/c2006_0509_011_.jpg --- Eric Drew
