For those of you in North Carolina would you take a minute to help me keep
our horses safe?
The state of NC is considering a law to allow hunting on Sundays in NC.
Currently hunting season is roughly Oct-Jan with hunting allowed only
Monday-Saturday.  To equestrians  hunting season means trail riding is only
safe on Sundays unless you are willing to risk being shot by a stray bullet.
If this new law were passed there would be  no safe days to ride during one
of the most beautiful times of the year in NC  Currently the state is
surveying citizens through the following website www.ncwildlife.com to
garner public opinion on the subject.  Just look for the link for "[]
Commenting on Sunday Hunting".  It is very easy and a short survey.  I am
asking you to join me in saying no to this new law by taking a minute to
complete the survey.
