Resistance?
Have a mare I think may be insulin resistant. I
believe I need to have lab work done to confirm this, right? Any special
precautions to take before the vet comes? Any specific test which is
more accurate than another? I've been trying to get her extra weight off and
the crestiness is lessening, but would sure love to be able to let her graze
in the spring grass a little and get her carrots now and then... Advice
and information much
