[RC] The Great Quest for Perfect Raingear haha - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Ray O'Donohue rno2m@xxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== It doesn't exist! But,here's my current set-up:Finally bought an Aussie coat, and for me it is very good. The neck opening was waaay too big,and on the first usage,in a "sideways" rainstorm, the water just poured in.But fixed that by putting in a new snap.Field trialing,we typically are not riding in summer,so too much warmth is not an issue.Great with a fleece turtleneck under it. Still working on the rain pants thing. My Filsons "ride up" the calf pretty badly, but other than that they also have been very good.Have to figure out a way to stop them from riding up.Neopreme gloves are pretty good. Got a Seattle Sombrero folding rain hat stuffed in the cantle bag and use 14" LL Bean lace-up boots. That's the current set-up. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
