[RC] Tank's Tests at Davis - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Karen Nelson knelson4299@xxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== I am a little confused with your requests for EPM tests being "declined" by techs at Davis. If you are paying for the tests, why wouldn't they be willing to do them? If you really suspect EPM, and have a possum problem in your area, etc, then contact your vet and see about the tests. It is one ugly disease. Also- if you suspect a tie up problem, a full blood panel that tests SGOT and SGPT will tell you is something is going on there. Not overly expensive, but blood should be drawn very timely when the problem exists. You can learn how to draw the sample yourself, which gets a nice fresh sample. Not hard to do. I would also find a real chiropractor for your equine. I personally don't believe in the "physical therapy" version of attention to your problem. I have a great chiropractor here in N Nevada, and I have been VERY happy with his work when I have needed him. Good luck in getting to the bottom of your problem. You can call me for reference phone number for chiro if you want. 775-577-4781 Karen Nelson knelson4299 at net zero dot com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
