With the problems associated with them and the expense and time to set up why 
do people use pens? when hi tie teathers can be rigged up safely and for about 
$10?  and when allowed to slide give horses as much move around room as a pen?  
even without trees, alot of camps have teather poles and there's always trailer 
to trailer.  and when you have to trailer tieing is not that big a deal.  most 
horses get plenty of movement that all they want to do at night is lay down and 
sleep?  So, with fuel prices and entry fees to pay why waste money on these 
expensive pens?  What's the big deal?
