[RC] Caja del Rio delayed until August 12th - magnumsmomPLEASE NOTE:The Caja del Rio ride originally scheduled for Sunday May 28th has requested a change of date to Saturday August 12th. This is the driest year on record here, from what I understand. We are hoping that the rains will kick in so that while we may get some afternoon storm showers on that day, we hopefully won't have this same kindling dry dead trees and brush posing a such a serious threat to rider, horse, volunteer and rig safety by August. Please Pray for Rain! We have officially requested a rescheduled date to hold the Caja del Rio on Saturday August 12th for this year. The only reason we were able to do this is because Susan and her marvelous Raton ride are taking the year off. We hope that the change will not inconvenience anyone too much and we are looking forward to seeing many of you at Ft. Stanton, and then hopefully again in August. Please email me for any questions.
