Re: [RC] Securing Horses... - mkrumlawMy fence is white and usually very easy to see regardless of the weather conditions (fog, rain, etc)....though I have tied flagging tape to the strands when the tape is darker (orange, black, brown). I hate the black fence posts with black tape, *I* have almost walked into a couple of those coming back from late rider's meetings and just didn't see them. I have been putting glow sticks on the horses *just in case* they were to get out. I started doing this when I was working with working some new/young horses and found it very easy to look out of the trailer window and tell by the moving glow sticks (colors varied by horse) who was doing what. Of course I didn't use them the night the horses got out...Murphy stikes again...dug them out for Saturday night though. :-) MKS --------------------------------------------- This message was sent using MailMan provided by Good News Internet Services http://www.goodnews.net/ -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by IntelliBlock MailScanner, www.intelliblock.net and is believed to be clean. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
