Also remember you, the caretaker, may not be here tomorrow.  Who else is going 
to have a soft spot and deep pockets for this foal?

I'm so sorry to hear about ANY abuse to horses, and I do have a soft heart
about such things, but flame away if you like,   

Any one thinking this through would immediately know the best course of
action should be humane and euthanize this foal.
 
Sorry but my money is better used to support the ones with a chance of a
normal life.
