Having had foals and shared in bringing new life into the world, I
would not be so quick to want to end one without finding out just what could be
done for the foal. Youngsters are uncanny in their ability to spring back
from incredible odds. I would like to know what kind of prognosis the vet
sees for him. I can't imagine a vet wanting to go ahead with treatment if
he didn't feel this baby might have a chance for a normal life.
