[RC] Talked to Char - mark@xxxxxxxxxxI called Char and talked to her and her mom, and she said it was ok to post an update. She had emergency surgery for a perferated intestinal ulcer after having no idea she even had an ulcer. She said the pain was excruciating...:-( The lucky part of this was that she was getting ready to leave for a really remote ride, and had she suffered this emergency in a remote area where she could not be taken to the hospital immediately, the outcome very well could have been devastating.She seemed upbeat and still looking forward to Tevis - of course the first thing she asked the doctor was when she could ride again!
