Happy Easter everybody,

Just got back from a beautiful sunrise service held on the bluff of a
nearby mountain. Watched the sky lighten up looking towards distant
mountains in the East, then instead of coming up from behind the
mountains we could see, it seemed to materialize  about an inch higher on
the horizon. It was coming up from behind the Smokies which are too far
away for us to see but still between us & the horizon. Since I live in
the valley, the sun's usually pretty high before we get a glimpse at it,
so it was pretty dramatic.  It was kind of  like early in the morning
during a race...but it was easier to admire when I wasn't fearing for my
life fighting a runaway. :-)  Great way to attend an Easter Service
without having to find a decent dress to put on. :-)
