[RC] Wanting to do my First Ride... - labdoggy

Hey everyone.  TOTAL Newbie here!
(I did P&R at the Peace Point ride last October in WV.
And have been reading this list for the past year plus)

I'm wanting to do my first LD in May and was hoping that someone  experienced, 
either starting a young horse, or a newbie themselves would want company!
I am thinking of either going to the Scioto ride in Ohio
and doing the 25 mile,  OR going to the Michaux Madness ride in PA and doing 
the 30 mile.

I will be riding my very opinionated 10 yr old Morgan mare
who I have been working hard to condition.

Any body?
