My morgan gelding has always been itchy and had a cough and bumps/sores in 
the spring, but not this year for once!!  I'll list what I have him on as 
I'm not sure what exactly it is that worked or if it's a combo of it all.

He's on a teeny bit of grain once a day (easy keeper) mixed with Dynamite 
Plus, ACV (1/3 cup), Vitamin C, and APF.

You might try Source or some other seaweed meal, 
http://www.4source.com/index2.shtml  A lack of iodine can lead to skin 
issues.

The book Natural Horse Care by Pat Coleby really helped me when deciding 
what supplements to give my horses.

Is this familiar to anyone?  My gelding has been suffering from bumps which 
open up and seep fluid, then scab over.
