Re: [RC] Sportack... we're not stupid you know. - Barbara McCraryAn excellent post, Laney, and one I can second. Shopping with a company is much more than the product...it is also the people with whom you are doing business.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Laney Humphrey" <laneyhh@xxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, April 09, 2006 9:46 AM Subject: Re: [RC] Sportack... we're not stupid you know. I wish someone from Sportack had announced to the endurance community that the company had been sold and introduced the buyers. I for one feel a great sense of loyalty to companies that have been good to me and to the folks on the other end of the line when I call to place an order. Obviously I won't be talking to my phone friends in Tuscson any more if the company has now been relocated to Park City UT and I'd like to know something about who I will be talking to. I'd like to know, for instance, if they are endurance people or if they know anything about the sport. Otherwise, I just might not dial that particular 800 number any more. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
