Endurance.Net Ridecamp Archives

Devil's Slide is a aptly named.  And for the uninitiated, it sits atop the 
San Andreas earthquake fault.  You should see the strata, all sitting on 
edge from some unimaginable geological pressure over the eons.  I don't like 
driving over Devil's Slide, but that's my husband's preferred route to 
access I-80 (even with out 20' livestock trailer/LQ horse trailer.)  Well, 
if he's driving, he can take whatever route he wants.  I'll be glad when the 
tunnel is finished, but that will be years!  At least the arguments are over 
and the construction has begun.
