It wasn't her first three races.  It was just three races last year.
Both Renee and the horse competed the two years before as well.  I
didn't
check to see if she had competed on other horses too.  I just checked on
the horse.

However, it would be interesting to hear from people who choose to
train/condition/leg up their horses at home and bring them to
competitions to compete.
