One of the usual tiping rules is that the owner of
a business is not tiped, only the employee.
I think the reasoning is that the employee does not
directly control his/her compensation, but an owner does. That is he/she
sets the rates in respect to all of the factors relating to that particular
business.
Some societies set compensation for all, even small
businesses. Fortunately, the USA being modified, regulated capitalism does
not.
