RE: [RC] Tuska Gazon Sudan - heidiI have leased a nice mare named Tuska Gazon Sudan. She is 15H, American Foundation, big chestnut with a kind disposition. I was told that she is an accomplished endurance horse but I find no AERC record on her in Datasource. The mare has spent many years in Texas. Has anyone been acquainted with her history as an endurance horse? Thank you kindly for any information provided. Not only can I not find anything even remotely close to her name in the AERC database, but I also don't see any rider records for either of the parties that have owned her. (It is unfortunately all too common for people to ride horses under their nicknames instead of their registered names--but usually you can at least find the owner as a rider with a record!) Ask her owner if she was ridden by someone else under a nickname--or if her "endurance record" was really something other than endurance (perhaps CTR, or perhaps she was just ridden on some sort of local training events of some sort). I am also amazed at how many horses are stated to have endurance records who have no such thing--either people don't understand what endurance is, or don't think it is something in which records can be verified...
