Yogurt is on the acid side. That is why it tastes sour. If you are mixing and using the 'Lytes in a reasonable amount of time, you will have no problem. Don't forget that the horse's stomach is very acid. Infact it's pH is much below applesauce or Yogurt.
A bit of carbondioxide in the syringe of 'Lytes won't hurt anything. It is different if you are sealing stuff in a can for months.
