[RC] competing w/out elytes - Cindy Collins-- how are they winning races and performing at the Int. level and not using electrolytes??? I can't speak about international rides, BUT I can say that Kathy Arnold absolutely does not believe in electrolyting horses under any circumstances and she has won and/or BC'd rides like ROC, Tevis, Big Horn 100, etc. on more than one horse. Also, once again, it's not international, but I know that Laura Hayes has a mare than cannot handle electrolytes and she rides 100s and multiday rides on her very successfully without them. I've never given them too heavily, but am wondering if I should even give as much as I do.
