You are not alone in the oh my Gawd what have I done department when having bought a horse. Sometimes in those first few weeks, as you learn more about the horse's faults (they ALL have faults), it can indeed seem as if you've made a huge mistake. I am glad you are feeling better about your new boy and hope that the two of you will work into a great pair. Time will definitely soften some of the rough edges and as he gets to know and TRUST YOU, everything you do together will come a bit easier and more willingly. Good luck with you new horse.
