I didnt think she was anywhere near too big for that horse - and the horse was in great shape. I suspect the issue with the husband has nothing to do with the horse - and everything to do with him resenting her riding. Either he wants her home with him, or he doesnt like the money spent on horse related events. My guess would be is that he is the male version of poster Jon's first wife.
