I know nothing about the enzyme thing but I changed the feeding 
schedule of the oats. Instead of feeding oats first I give the hay 
then do something else for 30 minutes then come back and give the 
oats. The horses are not so hungry and don't woof them down whole. 
They spend more time chewing.
