[RC] Birth control methods - Julienne

Hey Jennifer,

I tried progesterone implants on my mare with good results.  While it doesn't
take away her heats completely, it did help with the complete hussiness she was
exhibiting with the other geldings in pasture.  It calmed her hormones and made
her much more comfortable.  The implants only last several months (3-4)
depending on how many "plugs" the vet inserts - I had only one set of implants
to get her over the really strong first spring heat she experienced last year.
