RE: [RC] Oats - Rae CallawayYes, icky is a job for women. I've checked the oats in my horse's manure and the whole thing was there, not just a hull. As an added fact, those whole oats in the manure would sprout and my entire manure pile turned into a mini oat field. Pretty, and nice camouflage. In any case, feeling that I was wasting my money on food that wasn't doing any good, I switched to a pelleted feed. Some of the fiber in the hull is indigestible. Now, I've never actually separated an oat from my horse's manure and examined it that closely. That would be icky. I don't do icky. Lots of real men don't do icky. Dr Q =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
