[RC] EPM - KathyMy horse had epm 5 yrs. ago last fall. He was treated but still didn't regain all the muscles over his croup and one side is more muscled than the other side. He looked like a starved horse at one point. He recovered rapidly after treatment and within a few months was back on trail and started back in endurance the following year. He was 5 and had only done one 50 mile ride before the epm. Now he has 1650 miles and was 4th lightweight in CT region last year. He never will be the horse he might have been without the EPM and he is slow in the hills but still able to do endurance and is so much fun to ride. We have a busy season planned again this year. Good luck with your horse, Olivia. Happy Trails, Kathy Crothers =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
