RE: [RC] Oats - heidiFrom our "For What It's Worth" department, years ago Wentworth Tellington wrote that if you take a rolled or crimped oat and plant it in the ground, nothing will happen. If, however, you plant a whole oat, it has within it the ability to grow a whole new oat plant. He felt that difference was significant. So, when I feed oats, I feed whole oats. Very unscientific, I'll grant you. But sometimes you just gotta go with what feels right, and that notion feels right to me. Bruce Weary Oh, I dunno... Despite all my best efforts in reproductive medicine, I've yet to be able to cause a beefsteak to get pregnant and have a calf. But despite that, I still prefer to eat cows cut up into pieces and at least slightly cooked...
