[RC] Cleaning Tights/ half-chaps - Ridecamp Guest

Please Reply to: Karen Nelson knelson4299@xxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
==========================================

I use a leather conditioner Jay-El, which is from Australia and sold by Colin
Dangaard in Malibu, Calif. I wash the tights by themselves on gentle cycle,
and lay them down to dry, putting a small amount of Jay-El on the leather
patches.
I wash my half-chaps in cold water, with just a tablespoon of liquid soap, and
also lay them on newspaper or towels to dry, after putting Jay-El on both sides
of the chaps while still damp. I have some half-chaps which are over 15 years
old and are still soft. Jay-El isn't very expensive and goes a long way.
Colin or Dawn can be reached at 818-889-6988 and they will take your Credit
Card and UPS to you whatever you want. I have had very satisfactory dealings
with them since 1985.
