RE: [RC] [RC] How Long is Your Commute? - Mel Cochran

I have a 25 mile commute...my horses are not at my house. I have to drive 10 miles the "wrong" way each day to do my daily horse chores. That give me a total round trip of 70 miles each day. I have always done this and will probably end up finding a place in my general area to relocate where I can have the horses on my property. I am looking but property is sky high. I may have to move further away and into another county to find something I could afford. I am willing to go up to 50 miles from my place of work. I think that it is totally worth it.

The nice thing is that I have a small little commuter car that gets wonderful gas mileage and is cheap to maintain.

For those that work out of their homes (lucky you if
you can work from home...G) how long of a commute do
you have?  Or what is the maximum commute you would
consider to have your own property to keep your horses
at home with you?
